What - We want information, directly from CMs and PM

Integrated web-based public dashboard to view current and historical status of pollution, every planning and every action taken to handle pollution, forecast and advisory related to pollution. This system should be managed from offices of all the CMs and PM to ensure best results. It will also showcase their interest, dedication, focus and actions being taken by them for this issue.

Why - To keep them active

Government authorities think about air pollution issue only during the days with high pollution. On rest of the days, they breathe easy without thinking about this issue. This attitude is never going to solve the problem. This system will not let them take it easy and keep policy makers always remember the air pollution issue, it can make them responsible to make a difference.

How - Plan, action and result

The basic features of portal should have at-least following information:

Planning at state and inter-state level

• This section should showcase all the planning to manage pollution issue, both in short term as well as in long term like:
• For short term, it should showcase plan to handle pollution in coming 15 days, coming month, coming 6 months. It should be updated every fortnight.
• For long term, it should show plan for next 1 year, 5 years and next 10 years.

Steps taken to handle pollution situation at state and inter-state level

• This section should be updated every fortnight and we, as citizens, should be able to see all the date-wise steps taken by government.

Historic data, Reports, Forecast and Advisory at state and inter-state level

• Historical levels of pollution and statistics in detail like pollution level on same date last year, change in pollution since last year etc.
• Current pollution level in detail like current status, minimum and maximum value etc.
• Detail about all the air pollution sensors present like their location, status, technical details etc.
• Pollution related forecast and advisory to be issued as and when required.

This system should be managed directly from offices of all the CMs and PM to ensure best results. It will also showcase their interest, dedication, focus and actions being taken by them for this issue.
